Hochpustertal with Drei Zinnen

Hochpustertal with Drei Zinnen

Niederdorf/Villabassa and Surroundings in Alta Pusteria

The Garni Helvetia at Niederdorf with his Apartments is located in the heart of Hochpustertal, the area of the Drei Zinnen - Three Peaks. The Three Peaks - uniquely beautiful and stunning from all sides. To enable you to experience the magic of the Three Peaks close up there is in summer a toll road from Misurina to the Rifugio Auronzo hut.

The area around the Three Peaks in South Tyrol offers many hiking trails for experienced hikers and for beginners. The majestic rock spurs offer mountain lovers many climbing tours of various degrees of difficulty.

The village is embedded in the unique mountain world of the Dolomites, and surrounded by forests. There is a healthy climate, which is especially suitable for cure treatments.

Niederdorf/Villabassa is the first “Kneipp für mich® Erlebnisdorf” in Italy. Families find all prerequisites for a relaxing holiday. Visit the wonderful Kurpark.

Niederdorf/Villabassa lies protected amidst the Dolomites. Thanks to its advantageous height (1,154 m) and the many days of sun during the year, it offers the best prerequisites for a healthy and recreational winter or summer holiday.

Well trained hikers cross the Dolomites starting from the Helvetia from Hut to Hut, over several days on spectacular tours such as: the "Dolomites Alpine Ridgeway no. 1"  - starting point: Niederdorf - Pragser Wildsee (1.494 m) - finish: Belluno (389 m); the""Dolomites Alpine Ridgeway no. 3" starting point: Niederdorf (1.150 m) - finish: Longarone (474 m); d"Dolomites Alpine Ridgeway no. 4", starting point: Innichen (1.173 m) - finish: Pieve di Cadore (878 m); ""Dolomites Alpine Ridgeway no. 5"; starting point: Sexten (1.317 m) - finish: Pieve di Cadore (878 m) or the"Hochpustertaler Alpine Ridgeway" starting from Pragser Wildsee to Sexten.

The alpine cure village looks back over a long tradition of tourism. Niederdorf/Villabassa was the first touristic village in the Pustertal Valley – and some celebrities have spent their holidays here already.
